| Early 19th Century Satinwood Barometer Circa 1810 .
Some would say as rare as hens teeth I would say simply stunning .
This four panel Satinwood Barometer shows all the class and elegance of the era from which it came .
We see both Mahogany and Rosewood barometers all the time but this is the first Satinwood Barometer we have had in our showrooms in 50+ years .
Made by Antonio Salteri around 1810 his name appears clearly aswell as the address 17 Great Queens Street, Lincoln Innfields which is an address in London where he produced his finest work .
The Barometer has a removable thermometer otherwise known as a boat in the centre .
The swan necked pediment over a damp/dry meterleads down to the thermometer which is above thecircular dial with lever the name of the maker is seen on this disc .
